Working with the maths Department Heads we can tailor a programme that consists of a combination or all of the following:
GCSE Maths Higher Course
Our maths higher support takes into account those students who have an ability level between 5-9.
Gavin Shepherd-Hall has been instrumental in the planning and delivery of our Examiner-Led Consolidation Course for maths GCSE.
Gavin has over 18 years teaching experience in a range of roles and school cultures having taught the full age range from year 5 to A level and beyond. Gavin throughout his career has taught Maths primarily serving in leadership posts within Maths Departments and whole school for 15 of his 18 years teaching including Head of Mathematics, Leader of Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Assistant Headteacher.
He is also no stranger to developing his own practice, becoming a Mastery Specialist, Examiner and completing the Teaching leaders programme throughout his career.
Gavin’s love of mathematics comes from the connections, beauty and consistency in a subject that provides the answers for the great advancements of our age.
